Good luck with that! I really hope you can find it, it's a very good book, one of her best, I think. And yes! I think she's in her thirties but has been written since a very young eye. One of her sagas, "Memorias de Idhún" (Chronicles of Idhún) are one of the most famous fantasy sagas in Spain, at less in the recent times. And better don't keep rambling, because I won't stop, I love her so much <3
I don't know... maybe? I know she has a lot of international fans, but especially in South America, so I don't know if somebody would have translated it into English, but you can try!
What is your mother language? That's true, I have been told that hundreds of times by my Spanish and Latin teachers! But I think it depends maybe on your language; for instance, I have always understood well Italian (even before learning it) and Portuguese, but I never understood writen French until I begun to study it... But I suppose if you're good with languages you can give it a try!! And if your teacher thinks you can, it's probably because you do! :)
