I know nothing of Good Omens, but I know that I love this fic. So much emotion - be it subtle, or full-on, either way it made for some wonderful storytelling. This bit is my favorite:
Would his bosses believe him? Matthew wondered for a second if a demon could be banned for not being evil enough. He decided to steal a kid’s lollipop outside.
His inner turmoil was so damn cute here.
He quite liked his dishevelled hair, so he didn’t touch it, but for some reason he wasn’t completely satisfied with his usual attire, so he willed a pair of white braces into existence.
... is it just me being hopeful here or is that decision to add white and not black braces Matthew subconsciously putting something representative of Dominic, even if it's something as simple as something the color white, close to himself? Either way I loved it, and thank frick he likes his hair that way cos lordy I do too LOL.
