Brigi, my dear, you know how much I love this story but this chapter especially touched me; I'm glad you allowed me to beta it for you and I have no shame in saying that it did bring a tear to me. I can pretend to be comfortable with my parents' divorce but there is no doubt that it doesn't still stir something inside me and reading Dom's discomfort and fear really struck a chord with me.

Poor Dom must have felt completely betrayed when Annette didn't return any affection, despite already considering that they weren't right for each other. Lucky for him, he has a gem of a friend in Matthew. It really is a special moment when you find that other person in your life you know you can trust. Be it a friend or someone you love, it's a wonderful connection and these boys are angels to each other.
